Tricia also went to culinary school but finds front of the house to be more appealing. She also enjoys baking cakes and other confections for special occasions. She also runs the website, social media accounts and other various office work for both the restaurant and the catering business.
Tricia is a Washburn University graduate and enjoys writing and blogging in her free time. She runs her own food critic blog called Tasting Topeka.
Ryan graduated from culinary school in 2009. Since then he has worked at various restaurants in Topeka, KS and Phoenix, AZ. He was kitchen manager at Blind Tiger for a year, kitchen manager at Top of the Tower for 2 years and worked for Aboud's Catering for over 5 years. In Arizona Ryan worked at Michael's Catering and Olives and Ivy.
Ryan loves cooking for friends and family and recently took over operations at Lake Ridge Bar and Grill in Ozawkie. There he works full time while also running the catering business.

2 Chefs Catering is owned and operated by Ryan and Tricia Peterson since 2009. They attended LeCordon Bleu in Scottsdale, AZ together and got their culinary degree. Currently they run a restaurant in Ozawkie, Lake Ridge Bar and Grill, and 2 Chefs Catering hand in hand.
Born and raised in Hoyt and Mayetta, KS, Ryan and Tricia feel like they know what people in this area expect when it comes to a good catering experience, and want to go above and beyond that. Not only do they cater any size party, they personalize it so that it is special to you, and not routine. They can cater in Topeka and in surrounding areas.
In an effort to be more environmentally responsible, 2 Chefs Catering is moving toward locally sourced produce, poultry and beef. By purchasing our food from local sources that promise a hormone-free, organic alternative, 2 Chefs Catering hopes to be unique in offering a farm-to-table-catering experience.
Since 2018, 2 Chefs has partnered with two local farms, Arkenberg Farms and Good Ground Gardens for produce in their catering and restaurant. Whatever is in season, they try to utilize for both companies.
